Sources and Method
We want to be transparent about how the content on Sista Steget is created and which sources we use. Our goal is to offer educational support for those preparing for the citizenship test.
Which sources do we use?
Our main source is the Swedish Council for Higher Education's (UHR) official study material Sverige i fokus, which forms the basis for the citizenship test.
When relevant, we also use information from Swedish government agencies, including the Riksdag, Skatteverket, Migrationsverket, and other official sources.
Open Sverige i fokus (UHR PDF)How do we work with the content?
The content on Sista Steget is based on official information but has been reworked and supplemented to make it easier to understand.
We use clearer language, practical examples, summaries, and pedagogical explanations to help you understand the topics and prepare for the test.
Our goal is not to replace the official sources, but to make the information more accessible and easier to study.
When should you use the original sources?
If you need complete or legally binding information, for example before applying for Swedish citizenship, we recommend that you always check the official sources.
Found something that seems wrong?
We strive to keep the content accurate and up to date. If you find something that seems incorrect, unclear, or outdated, you are very welcome to contact us. We review feedback and update the content continuously.
